Summer Internship at Walmart eCommerce

For the past summer, I worked as a UX design intern at Walmart eCommerce. During 10 weeks, I worked closely with PMs, designers, and engineers to elevate the purchase experience for walmart.com, Home and Furniture page. I have accomplished 2 projects:

• Collaborated with back-end engineers to design a new module to pivot investment pieces on the item page,  worked with cross functional designers, researchers and content writers to validate iterations, hosted the design sprint, and presented the MVP to Design VPs and Home Vertical VP.

• Designed tagging feature on Discovery Feed, conducted competitive analysis, collaborated with the design lead and created consistency across Discovery Feed pages.
  

Working as an intern and on boarding at the same time, I was proactive through the entire process, communicating with my project manager, collecting feedback from our team, and asked for data and other resources when needed.

The help, insights, and co-creation I received from the project managers, designers and engineers and researchers invaluable. All these brought me closer to achieving the initial project goals.
